The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. A recent trip to the Mendocino coastline was driven by the desire to explore the beaches where trash from the city was dumped starting in 1906. Over time, wave action transformed the glass rubble into beautiful beach glass.
